As the Brand Unit Director you will be responsible for managing multiple brand teams which entails managing resources, ensuring consistent delivery and growing revenue with your clients.

You will be responsible for leading resources in the brand teams in order to deliver world-class digital business strategies, solutions, tools and services to clients, which enable them to achieve their marketing objectives.

Provide effective digital solutions that are mutually beneficial to client and the overall profitability with the aim to position and develop our client as a respected partner in managing and growing the client’s business.

 Key Accountabilities

Build and nurture client relationships 

  • Establish, develop and maintain long-term relationships with client champion and executives
  • Ensure tactical alignment with stated goals, objectives and strategy
  • Provide expertise/expert knowledge to client

 Successfully develop & manage business account 

  • Have full knowledge and understanding of client’s business/needs and draw on agency resources to fulfil objectives
  • Manage client P&L and grow account financially
  • Work with OD and prepare sales projections and expense budgets
  • Work with Finance to ensure invoices match quotes and budgets
  • Actively seek and convert opportunities to develop incremental business with client (present/sell work to client)
  • Negotiate contracts with client
  • Assist with business development and pitch preparation as required

Create effective digital strategies 

  • Provide effective & high quality strategic guidance and solutions
  • Assist client with the development of an appropriate communication strategy
  • Drive and manage conceptual work and the development of campaigns

Effectively manage team, product & service delivery 

  • Work with PUD and OD to recruit and co-ordinate resources
  • Effectively manage resources to ensure effective delivery of product and services
  • Guide team towards the achievement of client objectives, motivate, mentor, train and grow them
  • Accountable to deliver projects & campaigns on cost, quality and time
  • Prioritize & set expectations on key deliverables
  •   Follow HR Policies & Procedures at all times
  •   Ensure brand team adopts and applies all agency business processes and systems and continuously seeks improvement where needed
  • Provide loyal support to brand team through upfront and open communication
  • Manage performance of brand team on a day-to-day basis
  • Induct and on-board new employees in client accounts
