Our client is an international Managed Service Provider (MSP) and partnered with a large UK client, and are offering the opportunity for you to join their team as a Tier 1 Support Engineer in their expanding Cape Town office. There is a great chance for growth within the role where if you work hard, and learn as you go, you can work your way up the support ladder.

What will I do?

  • Remote support and escalation to senior support team. 
  • Represent the business by being the first point of contact between clients and business. 
  • Provide a professional and positive first impression. Ensure reliable resolution of customer technical issues via clients help desk. Engaged with a range of international clients

What do I need?

  • Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering OR 1 year hands on experience in IT Desktop/Server support.
  • MCSE/MCP/CCNA qualifications advantageous. 
  • Experience with: 
    • Microsoft Desktop (7/8/10) OS 
    • Microsoft Office (2010 – 2016) Administration of Office 365, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange 2010/2013/2016 essential
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, monitoring systems (PRTG), PSA tools (Autotask, Service Now), RMM tools (Kaseya, Labtech) advantageous. 
  • Be an excellent communicator.
